Swayam Saarthi (“we,” “our,” “us”) connects first-time entrepreneurs (“Swayam”) with mentors (“Saarthi”) and the organizations that support them, and helps people find and hire skilled entrepreneurs for real work. This page explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and how it’s handled.

Swayam Saarthi is a social enterprise initiative based in Vadodara, Gujarat, working to connect rural and small-business entrepreneurs with mentors and opportunities. We are not currently a registered Trust, Society, or Section 8 company — we operate as an initiative, and this policy applies to how we handle information on this website regardless of that status.

b) Directory information
Our website displays profiles of entrepreneurs (Swayam), mentors (Saarthi), and partner organizations. This information — including names, business details, contact information, and photos — is entered and managed by our team, not submitted directly by the public through this site at this time. This information is intentionally public, as the purpose of the directory is to help people find and connect with the right person or organization.
If you are a Swayam, Saarthi, or partner organization and want any of your publicly displayed information corrected or removed, contact us using the details above.
c) Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use tools that automatically collect some technical information when you visit:
These tools use cookies (small files stored in your browser) to work. None of them tell us who you are personally unless you’ve also filled out a form on our site — they show us patterns and numbers, not your identity, in the ordinary course of use.

The analytics and tracking tools listed above (Google, Meta, Microsoft) each process some technical data as part of providing their service to us — this is standard for how these tools work, and is governed by each company’s own privacy policy in addition to this one.
We keep hiring-inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to complete the matching process and follow up with you, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records. If you’d like your information deleted sooner, contact us and we’ll action that request.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this website. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we don’t store sensitive information (like payment details) on this site, since our services are free and don’t involve any transactions here.
